Videogames as teaching tools

My friend Tony Gurr has written a thoughtful editorial for the Vancouver Sun on why videogames can contribute positively to the mix of experience and education young people get today. Have a read.

While I don't think gaming is all benign, and can contribute to anti-social behaviour under the right circumstances, it's ludicrous to argue that electronic entertainment cannot benefit those who play games in moderation.
