This year's tomato harvest

Tomatoes

Vancouver's cool 2007 summer weather and sporadic sun made food gardening a challenge for part-time farmers like me. Still, even with the smaller yields, tomatoes out of your own garden taste like the real thing. It's almost hard to go back to store bought when they run out.

The ripe red, right-off-the-vine tomato is a thing to behold. So behold.
