Taking the Bluebox Express

Posted by Michael Klassen on November 24, 2007 in Soapbox

Hope you can excuse my poor grammar in the voiceover narration - it was only one take :-).

CanWest Global Mediaworks Publications (aka the owner of pretty much every newspaper in Canada) must be having a good holiday season judging by the heft of my most recent editions of the free semiweekly Vancouver Courier. As this video demonstrates all this expense, design, ink and pulp was wasted on our household.

There's got to be a better way for businesses to advertise with the Courier (and many other publications) that doesn't waste so much.

Someone needs to invent a single-sheet product marketing catalogue insert that people can just click on with their fingertip to change the image, like those picture frames that can hold as many pictures as you want. Am I just dreaming or is this technically possible now?
