Nucks Redux
Posted by Michael Klassen on April 7, 2008 in Soapbox
On Saturday I visited someone who had a hand-written note from a physically-challenged young person thanking them for arranging with the Canucks organization, specifically the owner's family, for supplying them with a half-dozen seats to a game, and arranging for transportation from Manitoba.
As I listened to the story my heart sank a bit, especially after dissing the team in my last post.
For the sake of Vancouver and passionate fans of their hockey team, I hope they can turn things around. It's a daunting task, but with the right leadership I believe anything is possible.
Prove me wrong, Canucks.
