Jim Kunstler's opinion on Obama

Posted by Michael Klassen on February 13, 2008 in Soapbox

The always provocative Jim Kunstler talks about Barack Obama in a post which says Race Doesn't Matter...er, it does...no, it doesn't.

For a guy who sounds like he's just plain fed up with democracy, it's encouraging to hear him say that Obama, or any candidate running for office, is melting away some of that deeply-ingrained cynicism.

Jim was in Vancouver recently to speak at SFU's Urban Studies program. I couldn't make it but would love to hear from someone who did.
