Greetings 2008, and goodbye to all that

Wow, it's been hard to blog for the past month. I won't bother with the gory details, but it involved a toothache that made my knees buckle, and a Christmas flu.
Last night I began reading Andrew Sullivan's cover story December's Atlantic Monthly about Barack Obama, and couldn't put it down. It's a very convincing read about why Obama is the only presidential choice that can heal the USA.
