Beijing Games' ultimate performance enhancer

Controlling weather for the Beijing Games

Irony alert!!

The Olympic Games are struggling with cheaters who use methods such as steroids, masking agents and blood doping to increase athletic performance.

Now China wants to use science to 'enhance' the Summer Games' opening ceremony, by altering the weather! The Chinese government will attempt to prevent rain falling on the ceremony, which is being held in a uncovered stadium.

I guess it makes sense. If nature has been usurped by science in athletes' bodies, then why not the surrounding environment?
